PackaTag makes QR-code lost-item recovery stickers for wallets, laptops, luggage, bicycles and other personal belongings.

How PackaTag works

An owner attaches a registered PackaTag sticker to an item. If the item is found, anyone can scan its QR code with a phone. PackaTag alerts the owner and opens a private recovery room where the finder and owner can message, share location when appropriate, and arrange the return.

Private by design

The owner's phone number, email address and home address do not need to be printed on the item or revealed to the finder. Communication happens through PackaTag's private recovery room. Owners can separately choose whether to share selected contact details.

PackaTag is not a tracker

PackaTag does not use GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, light or sound to continuously locate an item. It creates an immediate private connection when a person physically scans the QR sticker.

Our goal is to create the fastest, simplest private connection between a finder and an owner, without requiring the finder to install an app or create an account.
